Khubelu and Mabunyaneng Bridges
The Khubelu and Mabunyaneng Bridges are major infrastructure structures constructed to provide reliable transport links across Lesotho’s challenging mountainous terrain. The reinforced concrete construction required substantial structural reinforcement, with approximately 1,100 tonnes of rebar, mesh and binding wire supplied for the project.
The bridges form part of Lesotho’s road infrastructure, providing safe and durable crossings while improving connectivity and the movement of people, vehicles and goods. The reinforced structures are designed to withstand demanding loads, variable weather conditions and the long-term requirements of road transportation infrastructure.
